Welcome

I realized I'd stumbled upon something great the very first time a took a yoga class.  With a mind that never shut up, I didn't even realize that not thinking was an option.  As I lay on my mat at the end of my first class, I became aware of myself not thinking. The chatter had ceased. It felt amazing. This practice made me aware of the seeker in me, the one who had always been curious about life and the deeper questions. The physical practice of yoga asana gave me a way to explore my relationship to myself and my world.

Over the past 23 years, yoga has changed not only my body, but the way I perceive and approach life emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I believe that yoga can benefit everyone regardless of age, size or belief system. It will definitely make you healthier and more fit, but more than that, it can bring you peace of mind. You could say that my approach to teaching yoga is non-denominational. I'm not really selling a specific path, but rather encouraging you to dive deeper into your own path, whatever that may be. My goal is to give you the tools to inquire within yourself, to find out what is working for you and what isn't and to come to a place where your life more accurately aligns with your values. This is why I chose the name Go Inside, because I want you to look not to me, but to yourself for the answers.

I am coming up on my 12th year of running this studio. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know the yogis of Conway and watching this community grow. I am honored to have a couple of students teaching with me now, offering more options for you. If you decide to give us a try, you will find warm and encouraging people who just want to feel better. It has been really important to me to create an environment that is welcoming to all. Everything you need is already within you. To reveal it, you just have to Go Inside.
